Nairobi National Park

Category:

Overview

Nairobi National Park is unique in the sense that it’s the only National Park in the world that’s located in a capital city. Boasting open grass plains and scattered acacia bush, Nairobi National Park plays host to a vast number of wildlife, including the endangered black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, baboons and a diverse birdlife with over 400 species recorded.

The park has picnic sites, three campsites and walking trails for hikers. Should you need to connect with nature without wandering too far off from the city, Nairobi National Park is undoubtedly the place to be.

How To Get There

By Road: Distance: 10km South of Nairobi City Center

By Air: Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and Wilson Airports
